Dr. Jaime Martins

Dr. Jaime Gonzalez Martins attended Nova Southeastern University, where he achieved his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He continued his studies at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Dr. Martins fascination with dentistry began at a young age. His mentor, a local orthodontist, kept a gallery of transformation pictures in his office some years ago, and he remembers flipping through them in wide-eyed fascination as he pondered what sort of magic transmuted the before to the after. He knew then he wanted to be an orthodontist.

He truly feels that he tried his best to explore everything that dental school had to offer, but no matter what he did, his mind always went back to that experience in the orthodontist’s office all those years ago. He realizes now that this specialty has everything that he is looking for in a career. All of his strengths, his broad education in dentistry, his people skills, his passion for working with children; it all leads back to orthodontics. From a naïve and wide eyed pre-dental student to a fully-fledged orthodontist, this is his own before and after, separated not by inches on a page but by years of dedication and hard work.

In his free time, Dr. Martins enjoys traveling, exploring, golfing, watching movies, going to concerts and spending time with his family and friends.
