Dr. Colby Richey

Dr. Colby Richey was born and raised in Muenster, Texas, a small town outside of Gainesville, Texas. After high school he attended and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio before being accepted into dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After graduation, he practiced as a general dentist for 4 years. During that time he found his true calling in working with kids and decided to go back to school to specialize in pediatric dentistry. A year before applying to residency, he got accepted into a community health based pediatric dentistry fellowship with Ohio State University. There he provided services at a community health clinic and a mobile dental unit providing dental services for kids in rural areas all across Ohio. He then matched with a pediatric dental residency in Buffalo, New York where he obtained his specialty certification. He moved back to Dallas to practice until deciding to join the dental team here in Lawton.

Dr. Richey and his wife stay busy with their 2 young kids. During his free time he enjoys golf, fishing, playing guitar, and walks with the family. He loves watching sports and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys on gameday. However, he was also converted to a Buffalo Bills fan after his time spent in Buffalo. Dr. Richey is happy to be here in Lawton helping kids with all their dental needs
